For 2023, Noelle and I took a roadtrip around the American West checking out many of our National Parks. This summer I worked in Yosemite as a multi-day guide with REI Experiences. This was my second season with the company I look forward to many more amazing trips. As Noelle started her next steps of school we moved to Phoenix Arizona, I am back working for the REI retail location in Chandler.

Summer of 2022 I completed the Tahoe Rim Trail, a 180 mile thru hike with 27,903 ft of climbing in 12 days. I also guided in Yosemite National Park with REI experiences.

It all started when…

I signed up to go backpacking in Point Reyes while in middle school. With great luck I was lead by a fantastic teacher and mentor who showed me as well as hundreds of other students the beauty of hiking.

That trip lit the spark for the trail that has allowed me to turn my passion towards helping others get into the backcountry.
